Each leaf has been cast by hand separately before adding to the base
Lead cast leaves on a coloured concrete base

Lead cast leaves collected from the ground during autumn 2018. Leaves are mainly hazel with some sweet chestnut; goat willow and even a nettle.

Individually collected and cast in lead, these fungi have each delicate gill and dent showing in them.

This time with wire and slate, the fungi can be arranged standing in wire or laid on top.

In each of these designs, the materials used have been kept minimal, elemental even, to showcase the delicate design of the natural.
